Help, i've been using this laptop for like a year, and i kinda used it unnormaly (dirty), so my question is how do you clean the metal surface and crums underneath the keyboard, is there a way to take off the keyboard?

I tilt my computer so that it's vertical and then I stick the compressed air straw up in the F keys and just run across and watch as all of the crumbs fly down the keyboard and out.

I turn the lappy upside down and then spray the air inside. You can get the gas air from office depot

I use Windex on the palm wrests and anything thats aluminum. It gets white nasty blotches all over it. It's really frustrating.

For the surface of the palm rest on my 1530..I just use the Lens Cleaning Wipes that come in the little packets...The ones I like are made by Bausch & Lomb. They have worked out just fine for me. :D

I clean mine weekly with a damp cotton cloth (water).
