Have tried almost everything and nothing is working, second 8700 isn't detected in bios and physx card installed but not detected in nvidia settings. I've seen a ton of people with this issue and all threads have just died off with no solution. IE Board Message same exact problem. Any solutions available at all? I'm becomming doubtful that this is a fixable issue, i'm 100% certain its software.

Did the card stop being detected after an OS upgrade?

Clean wipe, was detected fine in original installation. Clean install to windows 7, experienced the issue, blew everything out and went back to vista still the same.

Can you reinstall the factory image? Try that see if it works.

You have to install the old one from Dell first if I remember it correctly.

Worst part is, nvidia stopped supporting it after phyx driver 8.x

I have most of the dell oem disks from my last gig as a dell tech, i blew out the recovery not thinking i'd need it

Yea, that was the method i had to go to get my physx card to working, old driver, reboot, updated driver and physx card is detected. Now once i install the nvidia drivers they don't even recognize the physx card either.

Got it working, hope this is of huge assistance to anyone else experiencing the issue. After i had already had all other sofware that came with the notebook installed and drivers. I ran driver cleaner on the video, rebooted. Reflashed system bios, before the system started up again i immediately flashed the gpu bios again and once it started back up again the card is now detected in device manager and working properly.
