Well, my long-awaited XPS M1730 has finally shipped today! I can't wait to use it.
Now, before I go crazy and start using it to its full extent, there are a few questions I have. First, how do I go about downloading all of the proper drivers and updates to drivers for not only the nVidia SLI card, but also for Dell services on the computer (ex. the BIOS)? I found this site:: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=XPS_1730&os=WLH&osl=EN. It has a whole list of "optional" and "reccommended" drivers to get. Should I DL them all? I've never had a Dell before...after you install all Windows Updates after you initially connect to the internet, do Dell updates also automatically DL, or do you reccommend I DL them from the above site?
Also, I don't feel like reinstalling the Vista OS, but I've read a good amount of threads about How Tos to do such a task. Personally, I don't think it's neccessary, but what do you reccommend?
Thanks in advance for all opinions and answers!
