    Hi,

I have the option of buying an XPS 15 with the 1080p screen and core i5-4200H cheap.

I am really struggling to find any information about how good the 1080p panel is though. I believe its a LED lit TN panel. Can anyone comment on the viewing angles, brightness and colour reproduction?

Also, any thoughts on the i5-4200H? Will it badly effect battery life? It seems to be about the same performance (GPU excluded) as the new i7-5500U (which is in another laptop I am looking at).

    Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. I have actually tried searching for 1080 and FHD on that thread, but not really come across much of use.

I also tried searching for i5 and got one person saying they were getting bad battery drain, but unfortunately no discussion to see if that was an isolated case or whether the i5 / 1080 model has bad battery drain in general.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated!
