    Hi all,

I am a new owner of an XPS L502x and am loving it so far.

Improvements I have done are replacing the hard drive with a 120GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD and screen upgrade from OEM 720 to AU Optronics B156HW01 V.4 matte 1080 screen from Lee at Kuzotronic on the forum here. Both excellent moves.

However on too occasions so far I have had a BSOD, once after we had a power surge/cut a couple of weeks ago and just earlier this pm. I wasn't at the screen the first time so can't report but this second time I had a couple of windows open and the computer started to drag its heels with 'not responding' comments and then BSOD. I was then unable to reboot into windows as the SSD was not recognised. After removing power cable and battery all was well again.

Any comments, thoughts or ideas from any of you woud be very welcome, thanks in advance,

    Damian

Thanks for the quick response namaiki, I have followed the clean install guide I found on here so the LPM tweak has been done as have as far as I could follow the other recommendations.

Hopefully it will be just one of those very occasional mishaps?
