I have the 1330 with XP on it. I installed the new BIOS A14 and now I encountered a new problem: when I hibernate the 1330, everything is good. But, When I choose the Sleep mode, the 1330 goes to sleep, but never wakes up. When I press on the power button, nothing happens. Therefore, I need to hold the power button, than the computer shut himself down and I turn it on.
    What to do..... Thanks.

P.S When I say "sleep" I mean to "Stand by" mode.

Often a video driver issue. Are you using the latest Dell driver ?

    I downloaded a new driver 2 days ago from laptopvideo2go dot com but I don't know if it's a Dell's driver.

    Thanks

Im not sure, but go into Device Manager, go under the properties of the components and uncheck "Allow to wake from sleep" or somethng along those lines.

    Then try again. ;)

Also, try closing some programs/terminating processes that are active and unessesary. SOmetimes, that will help. I know mine wont ever sleep if there is a game or something awaiting my responce running.

Uninstall your Video Driver and reinstall it. If you arent familiar with messing with modded video drivers, stick with the dell driver for your system. you can find this @ support.dell.com.
