    1330 battery question

    for my xps 1330 model, where does it say if it's a 6 cell or a 4 cell..i accidentally sent my battery into the depot and they kept it, then sent a 4 cell replacement i 'm afraid :confused:

    not only that, but i discovered this piece on the front was being held on by scotchtape, i pulled it off and the piece (where the mic/headphone input, etc) completely came off

    If you have a 1330 with the dedicated 8400GS then it's a six cell battery. If you have integrated, it could be either.

    As for the scotch tape? Got me. But you need to contact XPS support and let them know.

    when did you take delivery? you can check the invoice for what you got battery-wise.

    oh i have the 8400, hence sending it to the depot in the first place!! good to know you can't have a 4 cell with that..

    the scotch tapes pretty much the last shred of dignitiy i had for dell, gone. i hate this model. this laptop was a graduation present and i'm very sad i bought it.
