I have had mine since 1/08...and I knew when I saw the 1530, it was the *one* for me...Maybe because it was my first lappy ;) ...I didn't find it big at all.. ;) In fact I love the size of it..and I still find it quite *portable* :D

The 1530...is simply *pure awesome* to me ;) :)

    Cin! ;) :)

Hey, i've been using a 12.1" dell 700m as a "desktop replacement" :p for the past three years. I know how you feel, lol

i've kept it on 24/7 since 2005 and I've never had any issues with it whatsoever but it was just time to upgrade.

I've been using my roomate's m1530 and am eagerly awaiting mine! glad to hear you like yours!

Too funny! My little laptop is also a 700m, purchased primarily for travel (motorcycle touring!). Although I use a Dell 14.1 Latitude at work, it's mostly docked with a 20" monitor. And at home, I recently bought a Dell 22" widescreen monitor for my desktop pc. So thinking 15.4 not much bigger than 14.1, I originally ordered a Studio 17, then cancelled and re-ordered an M1530 last weekend. Sometimes "bigger is not better"! BTW, my 700m is still going strong, since it's been lightly used since new.
