My laptop crashed while in a game of Need for speed underground 2. The only way to get the system back was to hold down the power key.

On reboot the screen looked funny, seems the resolution and quality was set to the same settings as in game. I have put these back to the windows settings I want.

My problem now is that my wifi wont work........

On the right hand side of the laptop theres a wifi switch, when I switch it on I get a little white Wifi box appear on my screen which is part of quickset i think. However I usually get a little blue wifi symbol next to my capslock light.

I cannot connect to any network nor see any network

I try to run the dell's built in diagnostic and it fails to complete the tests. It fails on the radio test.

Dells trouble shoot is to make sure that ive turned it on.... duh!!!!

    Any idea?

Sometimes a laptop needs a full default reset, removing the battery will do this.
Obviously the game crash was to blame here.
