My 1530's DVD drive suddenly decided to call itself a BD-ROM and refuses to play any disc I place into it. When I open up its Properties I see the following listed as DVD Drives:

    MATA DVD+-RW
    Location: Location 0
Status: This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    ELBY CLONEDRIVE SCSI CdRom Device
    Location: Bus Number 0
Status: This device is working properly.

I've installed the latest drivers and they've done nothing. Any idea how to convince the thing that it is in fact a simple DVD drive and not a BD drive?
