    Here's the issue I'm having...
Using the Dell Touchpad menu, I'll adjust my "touchpad speed" setting higher because I like the added sensitivity. It works perfectly until I have to shut down or reboot my computer.
Upon restarting it, the setting returns to default (right in the middle).

Is there any way of getting my preferred setting to stay put? This is driving me crazy.

    Thanks in advance!

If you have Setpoint, you can disable that program. Or go into the Dell mouse program thing, and search for "Use OS implementation" and check mark that.

I couldn't find the "Use OS implementation" box, so I opted to disable setpoint.
Now the problem persists because setpoint automatically starts when I reboot my computer...leaving me to still open up my touchpad settings and readjust. Arg....the endles cycle continues.

Make sure you click on the Apply AND OK buttons when you've made a change. I've also noticed that some Windows Updates reset the touchpad settings sometimes.

Still having this problem. Pretty damn frustrating to have to adjust my setting EVERY time my notebook's turned on.

No solution. I've just dealt with it. 99% of the time my laptop's connected to my tv so I just use a wireless keyboard. The odd time I bring the computer with me, I have to adjust the trackpad setting. Pain in the butt I know.
