my power brick attached to the power cord that came with the laptop is buzzing and making static sounds. So I told dell and they sent me a new one. I just got the new one and it does the exact same thing. I have my laptop plugged into a surge protector strip, but i tried plugging it directly into the wall and it still makes the same sound. Should I get ANOTHER one or not worry about it?

Get another if you feel that they aren't normal sounds

You should get another one. I had my brick replaced after discovering the weird sound. My new one doesn't have the sound at all so i would say it definitely isn't normal.

does anyone know if they send a new one or a refurbished one? I hope it's new...

I noticed today on a different plug that I get the static sounds again.
