Sorry to make a thread for this but I didn't want it to get washed out in the other threads. Trying to do everything right with my new 1647 (replacement for 1640). I never had the right size phillips screwdriver for the screws on the back panel and inside the laptop. It was always close but not perfectly snug, and as a result have stripped the screws on the old one pretty bad over time.

I want to know if anyone knows the exact screw size on the back panels and inside the laptop itself? I know a bunch of people have taken apart their 164X for various reasons, thermal paste etc.. Anyone know? I'd like to go purchase one asap..

    It'd be greatly appreciated.

On my 1645 a 2.3mm (3/32") philips head screw driver works for every screw in the system, except non philips screws
