Dell is telling me that the RGBLED display is only available in Red and that it only comes with a 10/100 Network interface...?

Can anyone confirm or deny?

Well buckZor I can tell you that supplies do vary between the RGBs Black, Red or White and with or without leather trim. I've seen it when ordering mine online "This may delay your shipping date" disclaimer when selecting a certain option.

As for 10/100 Nic cards; the sales rep is just reading what the SKU says,(which does say 10/100), however they are all 10/100/1000 Nic cards be it 1640, 1645, or 1647 model. It's not something they can add or not it's built into the motherboard. So in short all XPS 16xx models have gigabit Nic cards.
