Ok, in my case I'm having a recurring freezing problem and I'm not sure if this relates to my SSD.
Under power management in Windows 7 I had "put hard drives to sleep" 20mins.
I assume that this is the root cause for my freezing problems because it seems to happen around the time it takes to sleep the drive.
My understanding is that SSD's don't require this function because they are constantly running due to no moving parts. My question is what do you think? is this a possible reason for my freezes?
Before I put this SSD in when I got the laptop it came with a 500GB 7200RPM drive. This too would freeze up occasionally. I've since reinstalled the OS on the new SSD Drive and am now intermittently getting a freeze.
One last thing to note. This doesn't only happen when the drive enters a sleep state. I've been working in programs like Photoshop for instance and during a file save the laptop will freeze forcing a hard reset.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Many of us 1645 owners have experienced freezes. I don't have an SSD, so mine was not related to that. Check out this thread, probably starting at the end.
