I have just bought a new 1645 and i have been using thinkpad for the last 2.5 years. The best thing i miss about my thinkpad is the touchpad and trackball (i really cant do anything about trackball though).

Is there anyway i can make the touchpad as resposive as the thinkpad's. I don't mean increasing the sensitivity and acceleration settings etc., with touchpad you feel very very precise and the pointer motion is absolutely perfect. If there is nothing to do, well i should better get used to the dellpad.

    Thanks

Meh, you could use non-Dell branded Synaptics drivers. They have a few more options, like pressure sensitivity if that will help?
