I went to turn the volume down by hitting one of the softkeys above the keyboard - the volume up button went bright and now none of the buttons work. (the volume up button is brighter even at boot)

anyone know or had this issue? Solution?

    thanks

would you believe pulling the battery and trying to turn the laptop on seems to have fixed it.

    go figure.
