I am currently being offered a exchange for my 1640, and they are giving my the option to configure it. Which is better? And how do i know which is the 1645 and 1647 on the website? And is there major differences in them?

how did you convince Dell to let you configure it? Im currently waiting for Dell to issue my order number to replace my 1640..

Now what concerns me is that - i upgraded the processor to t9800, i added a blue ray and dell upgraded my LCD to 1080p ,Im worried that Dell will go back the shipped config and i will lose what ive added.

No Dell agreed to add the Blu-ray. the 1080p and make sure the system is red,, I really want the better graphics and i-core- Dell will not commit to those specs...

I do think that a red, 1080p, blu-ray, will end up being a 1645, or 1647 since the combo will be hard to come up with in a 1640

Still waiting- it was approved a week ago
