this isnt 1 of those heat issue threads, im just looking for advice. Just want to say i love the notebook and would like to take care of it.

I have it on for quite a long time everyday, anywhere from 5 to 10 hours a day. i do mostly surfing, chatting and tunes but theres also work and gaming. Regular temps run around 50c and im not to worried about that. during work (but mostly gaming) it goes up to 68c. This is all with a cooling pad and mini fan blowing at it.

My question is what are the temps to look out for? when should i give my baby a break and shut her down? Sometimes my gaming sessions will last 5 hours at around 68c, is this normal or not recommended or what?

Any advice would be much appreciated. I want this notebook to last as long as possible.

The max temps for the 1645 are 100C for the CPU and GPU. At 68C you've still got a lot of headroom.
