Hi,
So I had my mobo replaced today because I still had throttling issues even with new bios (a09) and 130w adapter. I initially only wanted the heatsink replaced because the temps were only just reaching the threshold and had only started doing this within the last week.
Anyhow they came and swaped out the motherboard but now when I start I get a completely new bios screen and it makes beeps whenever you press keys. This is even after an update to a09. Furthermore the fan runs at full for 100% of the time, and I have no idea how to stop it.
Any ideas?
btw: same mobo part number as before: 65C2K

Either re-flash the BIOS and see if that does anything or just tell Dell that the technician screwed up your laptop and made everything 5 times worse.

Do you have heating problems with that laptop ??

Cheers gpig, parthg, I did originally but now with a new mobo and heatsink the problems seem to have gone away but this fan is bloody annoying when I am not gaming and just browsing the net (like right now).
