    Hey everyone, I want to put together a GROUP BUY for the 17" Screen Replacement screen as described in the Screen Swap Thread...

    PLEASE ONLY POST IN THIS THREAD (or PM ME) if you are interested in becoming part of this.

    As you know, the shipping for a single screen essentially doubles the price, so if we can get 10 people to go in, we can have them shipped to a single location in the US, then distribute them from there.

    There are several people that have shown interest, but in the ever growing SWAP THREAD and the far between postings, I think it's not going to happen.

    I'd like to limit this to about 10 per group as after that the group purchase will become to big and the offset won't be significant.

    LET'S DO IT!!! First 10 will make the first group!

    We will need to discuss the methodology and agree to whatever screen is received (a couple people have had pixel issues, but most have not had a problem). Once received in the U.S. they will be randomly chosen and shipped out to each person without being tested, so you get what you get.

    I run a private business, have good standing eBAY/PayPal accounts for reference, etc -- so if it needs to be done through me, I'm ok with it and can provide references for trust.

    I hope so too -- I've seen at least four people that appear are waiting to buy one in the U.S. Just gotta get it organized :)

    I have my wife's XPS L501X here with a broken screen, and I think it is a 15". The measure from corner to corner (exposed glass) is 15 5/8ths. Can anyone tell me if that is a 15 or a 17?
