Out on friday? As in available to buy or just officially announced so we know about it?

I spoke to an XPS guy yesterday and he said it won't be out for another month at least.

    I hope you're right though! :D

Here's my inquiry with XPS sales UK: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=2387839&postcount=156

The last time I spoke with them, they denied the 1730 existing so I'm not sure about the reliability of sales rep. I'm hoping they said it will take a while to appear in the UK because I was also enquiring about the 1710.

Urgh, I wish Dell would release official info on the 1730 already. :D The decision for my next laptop hangs mostly on the details of the 1730.

Someone hop in a Delorean, set the clock to 2012, go 88 miles an hour, then come back and tell us what the deal is with Dell and the 1730. And I'd also like to know what happened with Lost or if the Cubs make the playoffs, so check in on that while you're at it.

2012? I wouldn't care about the 1730, I'd bring back the 1790 with me :p (as well as a few lottery numbers)

Lost - Michael comes back but gets stabbed in the eye by a crazy polar bear with a sharpened pogo stick.

Everyone finds out they actually crashed in an abandoned theme park.

    Where do you see 1730?

Oh yeah! OOh! :D I've never noticed that there before.

I'm assuming it hasn't been there for more than a week because that's about when Dell sales first denied 1730's existance.

Dell guy: "There is no XPS 1730in dell"

If it has been there for longer, well, it was just Sales. :p
