Right-click the shortcut to FarCry2.exe, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab and tick "Disable desktop composition". Click OK and enjoy the game.

Does 180.43 benchmark well for notebooks?

Use Dox's Customised 180.43. It's optimised for laptops. I maintain my 10k score with his version.
