Hi guys, I wanna ask for your opinion, I got a xps m1710 for $1,200:

    1920x1200 wuxga
    core 2 duo t7600 2.33ghz
    7950 gtx 512mb
    100 gb 7200 rpm hd
    dvd dual layer burner
    2gb ram
    creative hd audio
    intel pro wirless 3945abg card

everything was in good condition, couple of small scratches that are barely noticable

Think it was a good deal?

Also, is it possible for me to unlock the t7600 processer to overclock it? Thanks.

    1. I guess that it is a good deal, as my friend bought a less powerful M1710 new for $2600

    2. Only Intel Extreme processors have unlocked upper multipliers (this is applicable to Intel's mobile and desktop line).

If you can find the PLL and software that supports it you can OC by raising the FSB.
