HAHAHAHAHA! Good one...

lol dont expect so much from dell, they are really mediocre when it comes to high end hardware, i think there can be a minimal chance of alienware getting close to that, but expect 4,000 USD base price hahahaha
-
And the price...
$10,800+taxes -
2GB 9900 ROFL...more memory than the GTX 280? The card would probably be as big as the laptop's keyboard. It's possible, if the laptop was 5" thick.
Makes me sad though that a custom desktop right now can kill those specs for cheap. Windows for the win! -
:gulp: >>>>>>> runs....
For that price...it better be worth every pretty $1.00
Would love to see any *prelim* pics', drawings...etc.

Those are some crazy specs there... If they continue making their XPS line like that, Dell probably wouldn't need Alienware anymore...
Having 3 USB's still however fall short of my expectation. Is there any news on the audio setup? I hope they incorporate surround. Dell is one of the companies lacking in that now (Lenovo, Acer, Toshiba, etc.) have all done it... -
what the heckaroonie is a 9900mGT

Too bad half those parts are fake...

Jayayess1190 Waiting on Intel Cannonlake
Rename of 9 Series
GT200 coming -
I think the OP pulled all the most high end components that are real or rumored on the web and meshed them all together in a laptop. I even think he created a few new parts based on what would be a logical (to him at least) upgrade to current tech. If you are looking for high end why would you even look at dell anyway? They still have tech that is a year and a half old in their laptops. Good luck even getting a 9xxx series in their laptops by next year.

LOL! Nice one...

Thanks for the replies
checked the Dell website again these specs were in the IDEASTORM section of the forum. I thought they were absurd myself but was hoping some of the specs could be true.
I do hope DELL comes up with some GOOD Notebooks for 09 -
Almost none of those are going to come true. Dream on notebook203.
