Sharp's IGZO has had this issue before:

    https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=igzo displays burn in

I noticed it when I was loading a grey screen and saw a black stripe down the middle of the display. It was a burn in from doing work with two apps side by side (snap feature) that produces a black bar in the middle of the screen. Since I kept it there for an hour or two while doing work it resulted in a burn in of that black stripe. I dont know if its permanent but it is still there. To further test I tried this site and sure enough there is burn in.

Is this for the 1800 screen or 1080?

FullHD screen. Both are made by Sharp and have IGZO tech so Im doubtful it will make a difference. If it does I will surely switch them out!

I just tried this on my LG IPS screen at work and sure there were some remains of the grid - burn in (after 30 seconds of the grid on screen). It disappeared after a few seconds of the grey color - no big deal for me I guess, as long as it does not become permanent. BTW Tassadar do you already have your own XPS 13 2015 at home or did you try this at a store?
