I dont like XPS 15 much because the design of this model too poor.
So i have plan to buy a 2nd Studio XPS 16 with config
    Code:
    i5 450M
    6GB RAM
    640GB HDD
    VGA 4670M

I just have a problem: that's the temperature. Plz give me some advices to should or shouldn't buy this laptop.

How long does Dell will release new version of XPS ? Can we guess it ?

The design is not poor, once you have it you will like it. It handles heat better too so I suggest going with the xps 15.

If that SXPS 16 has the 1366x768 display, don't buy it. In fact, if you have the B+RGLED screen in your XPS 15, don't settle for anything less than the RGBLED screen in the SXPS 16.

XPS 15 has a backside that makes it less attractive to the SXPS 16.
Don't know what for.. fashion..? But laptops are becoming like this.

What happened to the first one?
Was it good enough until you want to buy a 2nd one?
If heat is a problem for you.. then it is better not to buy back the same problem.

Btw, does Dell still sell SXPS 16 in your country?

    it's have 1600x900 resolution screen.

Dell is stopped to sell this model in my country. But, i like this model all except the temperature problem.

I read some informations about this problem. But, Is it too hot to acceptable temp or unacceptable temperature ?

have you ever seen and felt the new XPS in real life ?? I used to hate the design when I saw its pictures.. but the instant I had access to my friends new one everything changed. I'd say go for it.
I'll still say the SXPS looks better than the XPS. But its old, and the XPS is definitely better in thermal management than the SXPS.
