    Hey guys,

Basically I have a Dell XPS M1530 connected to a monitor via HDMI. I also have an additional monitor that I want to connect via VGA making 3 in total. However the VGA and HDMI connections don't seem to want to work at the same time. What can I do about this?

Essentially, I want the end result to be, that the 2 external monitors extend the laptop screen.

I'm fairly certain the M1530 can only output to two monitors (including the internal display) without additional hardware. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Looks like you're right, I might consider an USB gfx card for the monitor.
