Does any one know if it's possible to use the laptop lcd + 2 external monitors at the same time to play moderate games (such as PES 2011) + 1080p qam tv / movies + mosaic of web pages, etc?

What is a good app / way to arrange and save mosaic of web pages, ip web cams, of the customized web info: sport, weather, NASAQ + news, etc to maximize screen real estate?

    What's the maximum resolution possible 3 x 1080p or 1 1080p + 2 x 1600p?

    Thanks.

Says this on the Nvidia website for the GT 540m (which is what most xps 15s will have)

"Able to drive industry’s largest and highest resolution flat-panel displays up to 2560x1600 and with support for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP)."

Can't find anything on multiple displays, but I know you can use at least your own laptop display + 1 other monitor at the same time.

My experience has been that all of the display ports will function at the same time, but I can't say for sure with this Dell (because I don't have one in front of me). However, it comes with both HDMI and DisplayPort so, in theory, you could support two monitors and the laptop's own display.

reading this, i just realised, the SXPS 16 has VGA, a Display Port and HDMI.
I have a second monitor that i use with my VGA port but never tried multiple, maybe someone else has and they could probably share some info.

I could probably try VGA + HDMI as extended and see what happens...

Yes this is possible. I am running simultaneously 2-24" external displays and the 15" display, each at 1080p.
It probably isn't important, but one monitor is hooked up via hdmi and the other is using the mini-display port->hdmi->dvi.
    It's very nice!
