    3D, i7 2630m, 16g, GT 555M 3G,

I have 2 external monitors(mini displayport & HDMI) that I'm wanting to use on my nVidia GT 555M 3GB video card, but when I try to use all three monitors in the nVidia control panel, it says " This GPU supports up to 2 displays". I just can't believe it. Even my old Satellite supports 3 monitors.

    Am i missing anything?

    Nope.

All current and past NVIDIA cards (that I know of) cap out at two simultaneous displays. Hence you need two cards in SLI to run stuff like NVIDIA Surround. It's a basic hardware limitation of the card.

ATI on the other hand has supported up to SIX simultaneous displays since the 5000-series I believe. This level of multi-monitor support is the reason they came out with Eyefinity in the first place.

So you're SOL unfortunately. I guess your Satellite had a fairly modern ATI card in it.

Finally, I solved problem - USB monitor
    Samsung LD220 USB monitor 21.5"

2 external monitors: mini displayport & USB or HDMI & USB

The funny thing is I can't open nVidia control panel. However, I can adjust resolution via Windows control panel.
