Anybody know if Warranty is void if you "do it yourself" upgrade to x64 fom manufacturer configured 32?
-
Nope, the software you install has nothing to do with your warranty. They just may not offer you any software support if you use a 64bit OS. However, they are starting to offer it on a wider basis.

Nope, it wont void the warranty.

ahl395, your 8600M GS doesn't really have 1791 MB; it's borrowing the majority of that from system RAM. Perhaps your sig could use some updating?
(While I'm at it, you put in an extra "s" before the "t" in "questions". -
since the xps 1330 now ships with 64 bit vista, will they still NOT offer support if you bought it with 32bit? I have the 64 bit but am hesitant to install it because I see it requires some work to do and I need to upgrade my ram for it to be useful anyway.

If they look up your service tag it will show 32bit. They may not be very willing to support you.
