    5530 HSPA Mini-Card Firmware

    The newest firmware for the 5530 HSPA Mini-Card won't install on my XPS1640.
    Have you had success installing it?

    This is the driver from the Dell site:

    The driver is called Dell_Wireless-5530-HSPA-Mini_A01_R212325_firmware.exe

    Executing this file unpacks it:

    ...and continues to start the installation:

    ...pressing OK will give me this:

    What's your experience on this?

    Your laptop does not use this driver check your check the second picture for details uless the driver you dowloaded is bad try dowloading it again and instill it.

    My laptop is indeed mentioned in the second picture. "Studio XPS laptop 16".

    I've got the same problem on my Studio XPS 13!

    The flash idea came up when i actually did have problems getting it up and running with GPS.

    I have also actually tried it after exhausting everything else to get GPS working without having to send AT commands to the modem. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers
