The 65W adapters that came with my M1330 are PA-21.
    I ordered a spare.
    The dimensions are about 4" x 1 3/4" x 1"

The 90W adapter that came with my 1720 has dimensions of about
    6" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4"

So yes there is quite a difference in size.
Neither one is terribly heavy, though the 65W is lighter of course.
