I don't recommend you do this, unless you have the copper mod.

But I overclocked from 400/600 to 525/900, and the difference in performance was huge!

    3DMark06 before: 1,700'ish
    after: 2,077 !

    RTHDRIBL 640 x 480 window before: ~ 50 fps
    after: ~ 70 fps
    ----> around 40% increase!

    W.E.I.: Aero/Gaming Graphics before: 4.1 / 4.7
    after: 4.8 / 5.2

The good news is that my load temp has only increased a few degrees:

    before: 72C
    after: 75C

I don't think so, since my load temp isn't that much higher than before....

I've overclocked up to 650Mhz/800 (m1330) and the performance is excellent with no artifacts or anything. Am I just lucky it can clock up that high? (coppermod)

I dont know if this is a fact but i heard someone say that even tho the temperatures were at a fair heat level, the card still fried due to over-stressing of the card

ill simply put my word in that going from 600mhz to 900mhz is too much...its going to kill your graphics card in no time..

Since there are no temp sensors for the memory, u dont know if its that part of the GPu which will cause it to fail

Rather Oc your core further than your memory...

This will only bottleneck your GPU, i have OC'd my 8600gt to 650core and 900 memory, if i increase the memory clock, then it will downclock my whole GPU after some minutes of gaming, and if i lower the clock back to 900 then it gives me constant FPS, maybe there is a sensor, you just cant monitor it :D

and by the way, your GPU's memory is just under your A and S key, facing the palmrest structure and keyboard, just useful info :D

however! I as an overclocker know that this will cut my GPU's life, and im seriously OK with that, as long as i get to enjoy my most demanding games to the 100% :D

so any "Dont OC that card, its already unstable as it is!!!" comments will be frowned upon heheh :D
