    Hey guys,

I've been helping out drfelip with the post you benchmarks thread over in games.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=376713

After doing some benchmarking. I am happy to report us m1730 owners with the Dual 8800m GTX SLI are giving the 280M Graphics Card a run for it money ! ! ! !

    http://optimitza.cat/benchmarks/laptops

As you can see theres only a few frames in it in Crysis, and in Devil May Cry 4 the 8800m pipped it by a few frames at higher resolutions.

To make it even more satisfying the 280m was @ 1650x1080 and the 8800m was @ 1900x1200 :)

LONG LIVE THE 8800M GTX SLI'S

    Regards Jim

From that test I can see a SLI configuration vs. a single card configuration with OC. Is that correct ?

There's a reason why the GPU alone was around 800-1100 bucks alone.

Anyways, I play all my old school games like BF2, 2142 @ highest settings on 2560x1600 res w/ 8800M GTX SLI.

Then that's pretty damn cool if it's a single GPU, imagine how SLI would work.

And the price of the 280M is about 480 USD, stand alone. :).

Anyway, thnax for the heads up in performance comparison.

The 9800m gts does well, but dont forget HIGH results are at native res which is 1366x768 in the table.

I think the only card that's gonna eat benchmarks is the ATI Moblity 4870 in Xfire mode!
