I got my xps m1530 and thus far it is flawless. However, I can't find the travel remote, does it come in the box or where?

You know that leather manual cd holder case thing? Open it up, its in the netted pocket on the right where the Microfiber Cloth and the Headphnes are.

This is a random question but... since Dell has now made the option for 320GB hard drive for only 50 bucks more and the 25% off coupon is still there.. would you get a return for your current laptop and buy a new one configed with 320GB 7200RPM harddrive?

sometimes it is found in the box and sometimes in the express card slot.. if you dont find it, you could phone dell and ask them for a remote and threaten to return your lappy if they dont send you one

Lol nevermind I found it, no I got the 250gb 5400rpm and my laptop is flawless
with a flat keyboard and all. I wouldn't risk getting a bad one. However, does LED look that bright to you?? Is it something you need to see side by side with another laptop? I'm just web surfing and it doesn't look too different from a regular screen.

When you mean regular screen like for a desktop, it might be close brightnesswise, though colors are better. I think desktop displays are already naturally bright, though I never looked at both at the same time myself.

However if you compare other laptop displays non-LED with your LED, you will notice a HUGE difference. You will feel pity for the laptops without LED the next time you see one.

Just a comment about the remote... its awesome, it works very well. I stood 20 feet away from it, and used the remote with media center, and it still worked.

The funny thing is when I used the remote and I had media center running on both laptops, and both of them responded to my remote. XD
