I'm from Canada and I'm very interested in the xp studio 13. The specs seem really great, and It fits into my sub 1200ish budget.

I've heard that the "flat keyboard" needs some getting used to. How bad is it? I'm somewhat picky when it comes to keyboards. I've also heard about the dell 1340. what's the difference between the studio 13 and the 1340? Is there anything else I should know about?

The Mini 10 that I have has a similarly flat keyboard and it was a little unique, but not a pain to use. It was just weird to me because there's a lot more "top" to the keys.

And it looks so good I could get over it taking a little adjustment :)

I can relate, I was also in the exact position. I wasn't too sure of the keyboard at first but when I got it, it's actually not bad at all. It didn't take any time to get used to (Other than the Fn and Ctrl being reversed, I switched from a Lenovo).

I can easily say to you that it won't be a problem at all, so don't let it hold you back on your purchase.
