I woul like to know how much i can get with the 9 cell battery, LED display, ssd and 8400.
I am looking at a 13.3-14.1 with long battery life. Any other suggestions? I like the illuminated keyboard on the studio 1340, but it's heavier and i hate that leather part, plus the airflow problems.
Lenovo u330 is nice, but have some battery problems as i saw. I don't know much about HP dv4t.
Also, in Canada is a little harder to configure a HP or Lenovo... :(

M1330- With a 9 cell and SSD, with WiFi on, you are looking at something around 6 hours.. provided you turn down the brightness.. no webcam usage.. and no video playback.. basically just word processing and surfing..

Latitude E4300 or E6400? The 13" E4300 weighs less than 4lbs and is going to get something like six hours on a 6-Cell. If you need dedicated graphics, the 14" E6400 weights around 5lbs and (with a discrete GPU) will get the same six hours on a 9-Cell. No leather or airflow problems on either, too :)

one of the issues I have with the e series latitudes is the low screen contrast compared to their xps consumer brethren (according to notebookcheck). I seriously considered an e4300 (they're so pretty!), but paying more money for a washed out screen really put me off. anyway, I ended up taking a punt on the xps m1330 again, but got a 2 year warranty and still saved money compared to buying an e4300.
