    After forgetting about it for a few months, I'm back at looking into the PLL on this notebook for a hopefull overclock. Contrary to what I had thought previously, the last three digits in the part number are important as there are different variants of the same thing. The last three on mine were pretty much scrambled.

    I would normally check this myself, but if you're around here often then you might have seen the thread I posted where I made a heatsink for the south bridge. The problem is that the heatsink covers up the PLL and I'd have to completely rip my computer to shreds to get it off again.

    The PLL is located under the piece of black tape/plastic marked "WWAN" and starts off as SL28541, it's simply sticky on one side so it just pulls off and sticks back on easily enough. If you could post back the rest of the digits then that would be very helpful. If you have a macro lens then a photo would be even better. It should look something like this.
