Directly installed without any problem. Hope it fixed up all the horrible 10.6 bugs.

Basically, the performance of the 4670 (and 3xxx series) will not improve with future ATI driver updates, nor will groundbreaking new features be added. Stick with the reliable Dell drivers, which had matching performance and more features than the ATI 10.5 Drivers.

This driver isn't WHQL certified but is version 8.753 (CAT 10.6 = 8.741?). I installed this to see if it fixed the OpenGL problems that were in CAT 10.5 and unfixed in CAT 10.6; the graphical glitches are corrected, but performance is worse. In the game I tested, Quake Live, the frame rate is almost solid at 125 and as you move around it takes a huge dip down to the 80 range (I bet far below what is being reported though) and the control and animation jump around like I'm stuttering every few seconds in slow mo. I had a similar problem actually trying to play Dawn of War 2 on this system with fresh install of Windows and CATALYST 10.6, anyone seen anything like it?
