The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    We have six computers in our house, all have MSE installed. I have three boys that bounce between every gaming site known to man, downloading and installing and uninstalling software and MSE has never let me down. Should I uninstall the 15 month subscription that came with my system and use MSE or another free AV or just use up my subscription first?

    I think you answered your own question.

    BTW...Windows 7 and XP to a lesser extent have what I consider is outstanding (free) Family Safety software which you can download from MS.
