    Hi, I was noticing that when I make a video call in Windows Live Messenger it uses HD in the webcam... Whenever I use it in Skype it uses it as SD... do i have to activate it somehow? or is that only possible with the skype that came with the computer... i updated it to the latest version from skype's site...

    It switches to HD automatically when you have enough bandwidth to send HD video.

    i thought that but even in "video settings" when not sending it, it shows as SD... so that's why i thought it might be something else...
