I have an XPS 13 2015, and I cant see to turn off Adaptive Contrast. There is no settings for it in the Intel Driver, and no settings in Windows. The only setting I can find for it is in the power profile, but it does nothing

Does anyone have any ideas how to turn it off?

This issue is well known and was discussed here a lot. Please read the owners thread for more info.
For now there is no solution for that problem and we are hoping that Dell will fix it as soon as possible.

For now, it looks like it is a hardware setting that is enabled by Dell and purposely locked away from the user. The setting for "Display Power Saving Technology" in the Intel graphics control panel is not available (at least not in the Dell-provided gpu drivers nor with Intel's latest v4080 release), and it is the one that controls dynamic contrast (at least it is for all my other laptops that use the integrated Intel graphics).

Hopefully Dell can release a BIOS update or small program that lets the user turn this setting on or off. But who knows if or when this would happen, and thus I am returning mine.

That's weird, I have no issues with the adaptive brightness or contrast. I have the i7 QHD. The windows power scheme has adaptive brightness but not sure if thats related to your problem.

I have the i7 QHD too and dear god I cannot stand the adaptive brightness. Disabling adaptive brightness in the power scheme changes nothing.
