    Hi everyone

I am looking to buy a L702X. Instead of paying the outrageous premium to get a 2nd HDD from Dell I'd rather order one drive and insert a SSD after I receive it.

The problem is 1. The laptop should still have the empty spot for the 2nd HD even I ordered the one drive model right? 2. Is the mounting screws for the 2nd HD going to be in the system already?

I'd really appreciate if someone who has done something similar could let me know. Thanks in advance!

    Ken

Same with mine. Mount plus screws were there.

    Hi,

It should come with the 2nd caddy already installed but there are some reports from other forum members that in some instances, the 2nd caddy has not been provided.

You may want to get that screwdriver out and take a quick look under the panel before you order your 2nd HDD just to make sure.

    Cheers
    Lee
