Does anyone know how I can adjust the shared memory on my m1330? Right now I'm not turbo caching anything, just using my 128mb of onboard memory. I've looked around in BIOS and I haven't been able to find any option on how to change this. Do I need to do it through an nVidia program? Does anyone have experience with this? Any help is greatly appreciated--thanks in advance.

What do you mean automatic? As far as I can tell my video memory is always at 128mb.

Assuming you're talking about NVIDIA, the 128MB VRAM is dedicated, not shared. Obviously you cannot adjust dedicated memory.

Yes I realize I cannot adjust the dedicated memory, that much is obvious. What I am talking about is adjusting the shared memory, or turbocaching. I have not been able to find a way to adjust this.

Turbocache will only be used once your dedicated memory has run out

It will dynamically use up to 800+mb if you have 2gb RAM. In reality, Turbocache doesnt get used as often as you think.

Alright, well I have 3gb ram. All dynamic eh? Neato. I only ask because it seems many laptop users (apparently not using Dell bios) are able to adjust their shared memory through bios. This is much nicer though heh, TY flipfire.
