    no idea which xps you're on but its quite easy on the new ones
    If you're on a new XPS hit the windows mobility touch button (two differently sized gears) then, in the bottom left hand corner theres a box labeled "Function Key Row"

    By default this box is set to media keys, you just need to switch it to function keys.

    If you're not on a new XPS just try searching for windows mobility center

    Hold Windows Key and Press X to launch Windows Mobility Center ;)
