    After only 88% Battery Capacity left? Normal?

    I have my laptop for about a year now. And only have 88% left?

    What do u guys do? take out the battery when running on ac? I never did since well its more confortable having the lapop a bit higher in the back for writing...

    It's unfortunate, but 88% after a year is considered "excellent" or at least "very good." If you hold down the button on the battery itself to check for wear, no lights will show up, which is the best.

    (note: just touching the button will show charge level, and not wear level)

    I don't do anything special for my battery except to make sure I drain (let the computer put it into hibernation) it once every 6 months or so if it doesn't happen during normal usage. I'm at 81% after a year and a half, and it's been at that level for almost a year.
