Hi everyone I just brought a M1530 and my only con is that I don't like the memory....well speed wise, I want my memory to run at least 800 MHz, the one I have stock is 667 MHz
My question:
I was wondering If I can swap the memory without voiding the warranty and if this
is compatable and if it isn't which brand do you recommend ?

According to the Intel PM965 Data sheet, " Mobile Intel 965 ExpressChipset Family", Rev 3, dated June 2007, The chipset can only support 533 and 667 ram. In fact, the chipset can only handle an 800 FSB chip (200 MHz effective). So the only benefit DDR2 800 ram will give you is the ability to move the ram to the a mobile P45 chipset laptop you might buy in the future.
But you could pick up some 667 Cas4 (tighter timings then Cas5) for a slight increase in performance. -
lol that sucks, oh well

that is a total bummer... sorry it couldn't work
