    Hi everyone,

I was wondering do i need to install seperate drivers for my standalone card or with the new Nvidia PhysX drivers install the latest one?
I know the Nvidia drivers make you GPU Physx capable but is that all they do?

    Regards Jim

I'm guessing that you have a 1730 with a PhysX card - my suggestion is to install the 177.92 drivers from laptopvideo2go. Also install (sometimes the 177.92 installer does not install it), the PhysX driver package from NVIDIA.

As to having the PhysX calculations handled by the Ageia card or by the GPU - its personal preference I guess. Figure out which you prefer....

Once you have both installed, check your Programs Menu >>>> NVIDIA Corporation >>>> NVIDIA PhysX Properties - to set which will handle PhysX.

    Thanks for replying BatBoy,

Yes I do have a seperate Physx Card in my m1730. Thanks for you advice. I have installed both. Just wasnt such if the Nvidia ones were just for GPU Physx, but looks like it controls my Standalone card as well :) Happy Days

    Cheers again
