I have a strange issue, 2 finger scroll stops working at random in chrome, I have tried reinstalling chrome after deleting all the content in appdata, deleted the mouse (trackpad) in device manager and it still happens.
I even went as far as a delta recovery back 2 days using macrium and the fekkers still at it. :(

    Am I alone in this?

Always been using Chrome on my 9550. No issues here.

I did notice though that since the anniversary update, the scrolling in Chrome became super smooth. :)

So something did change with thee update

You are not alone in this Gonzo.
It happens only in Windows 10 for me and when I keep my two fingers in the same position for a while it jumps to the top and bottom until I slightly move my fingers. I use Chrome in Arch Linux and the trackpad runs flawlessly with the synaptic touchpad drivers.

I had this problem on my 9350- it was a major reason I sold it. Never had it on the 9550 though.

I created an account just to reply to this. I am facing the same issue and it is driving me mad. I tried the canary version of the chrome and have encountered the same issue after some time of using it.

Anyone tried the synaptics drivers as I think it may be a precision mouse issue?

I have a similar problem. It doesn't stop scrolling, it just begins scrolling very poorly. I need to move my fingers quite a distance, and then the scrolling is very jumpy (CPU usage is low, it's not under load). If I switch to another tab, it works fine. Happens at random, and not on any particular page.
